Research Statement: Caroline started her Ph.D. working with Dr. Peter Waylen with the Water Institute Graduate Fellow program before his retirement. She is currently working with Dr. Katy Serafin since 2020. Her research is based in the Tempisque River Basin in Northwestern Costa Rica, where climate scenarios predict a decrease in precipitation and an increase in temperature, putting an extra stress on the already vulnerable system. Her interest are Hydrology, Remote Sensing, Climate Change scenarios and working with Youth on water issues.
