Research Statement: For research, I am interested in land-use and land-cover change analysis in Florida, using GIS to model species distributions and habitat suitability. I strive to make future land use models in Florida more sustainable, decreasing threats to biodiversity and increasing environmental stability. Ultimately, I would like my work to become wide-reaching and foster environmentally conscious societal development and interactions.
