Research Statement: As a transportation geographer, my work is driven by core questions such as: How do people move within cities? How can urban land use and transportation systems be optimized to better serve mobility needs? What are the socioeconomic and environmental implications of these systems? To address these questions, I utilize diverse human mobility and transportation datasets, employing quantitative tools in network science, machine learning, and GIS. My ultimate goal is to generate data-driven policy recommendations that support equitable, sustainable, and resilient mobility systems.
