Dissertation Topic: Human Mobility Resilience and Behavioral Dynamics under Natural Disasters
Research Statement: My research centers on the geography of human mobility, with a focus on how populations respond to, withstand, and recover from disruptive events such as hurricanes, floods, and infrastructure failures. Leveraging high-resolution location data and spatial analytics, I explore the interplay between individual movement patterns, community resilience, and the social and environmental factors that shape them.
