Research Statement: My research integrates applied meteorology and geospatial analysis to improve remote sensing accuracy in measuring and observing rainfall in tropical cyclones. I also investigate spatiotemporal patterns in flash flood warnings associated with these storms, offering critical insights to help forecasters and emergency managers anticipate and communicate flood risks more effectively.
