Nick Dowhaniuk is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Geography, University of Florida. With a M.H.S. in Environmental and Global Health, a M.S. in Environmental Conservation, and graduate certificates in Statistics and Tropical Conservation and Development, Nick’s work focuses on Community Health through an interdisciplinary, systems-based lens using mixed-methods to engage end-users in research and practice. He is particularly interested in praxis-oriented research that is fluid, open-ended, and can adapt to end-user community-identified needs and priorities.
