Abstract: Dr. von Fricken shares his experiences working in Mongolia and Kenya utilizing a ‘One Health’ approach to investigate tick-borne diseases in resource-limited settings. Through targeted sampling paired with remote sensing and pathogen detection, he will illustrate how holistic approaches can be used to investigate disease risk across human, animal, and environmental health. Join us in exploring the intersection of science, technology, and policy, and how they can converge to protect populations from emerging vector-borne diseases.
All are welcome to attend.
