2024 UF Geography Celebration Weekend

The 2024 UF Geography Celebration weekend will be March 22-23!

Friday, March 22 will feature the following events:

  • 11:45am – Undergraduate and Alumni Career Panel in Turlington 3012. Students and alumni can trade class, interview, and career stories as well as provide advice and mentoring tips.
  • 12:30pm – Department Luncheon for undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, staff, and faculty in Turlington 3018.
  • 2:00pm – GeoGators GeoBowl Team Quiz Event in Turlington 3018
  • 3:30-4:30pm – Tours of Department and Meetings with Dr. Binford.
  • 5:30-9:00pm – Evening of Excellence in the Keene Faculty Center in Dauer Hall.

Saturday, March 23 will feature the following events:

  • 10:00am-Noon – Geocaching and Scavenger Team Competition
  • Noon-2:00pm – Department Luncheon in Turlington 1215.
  • 2:00-4:00pm – GeoGators Happy Hour at Cypress and Grove. 1001 NW 4th Street. A food truck is typically present, and will feature live music.
