UF Geography is delighted to announce our latest faculty hire. Dr. Alan Wiig will be joining us in Fall 2023 as an Associate Professor with expertise in the areas of Urban Geography, Economic Development, Globalization, Information Technology, Infrastructure Studies, Smart Cities, and Urban Studies. We cannot wait to have such a dynamic scholar as part of our amazing program and look forward to some new program development in the areas of social and urban geography – stay tuned!
