We had an exciting Evening of Excellence – combining our annual awards event with the retirement celebrations of Pete and Greg.
Dr. Peter Waylen was retiring after 28 in Geography, including serving as Department Chair for 7 years and a 5 year stint in the Deans Office as an Associate Dean for the college. Dr. Greg Glass retired after 7 years as a Preeminent Faculty here at UF, where he was a joint hire between the Emerging Pathogens Institute and Geography. Both Greg and Pete will be sorely missed!
