Abstract:
Nepal has achieved significant progress in malaria control with vector control interventions and aims to eliminate malaria by 2026. However, Nepal is also experiencing an increasing proportion of Plasmodium falciparum malaria and imported malaria cases. Despite the progress achieved in control, malaria still occurs at high rates in some districts. The objective of this study is to assess the progress of the malaria control, identify the changing geographical distribution of malaria risk and evaluate the effectiveness of vector control interventions to eliminate malaria from the country.

All are welcome to attend.
