Abstract: Environmental change poses a myriad of challenges to the global population. Fortunately, the employment of geospatial information has enhanced our knowledge of environmental change and equips us with tools needed to better understand the socio-environmental effects of change. This work uses geospatial datasets for analyzing environmental dynamics to identify ecologically vulnerable regions and considers potential outcomes of climate change and agricultural commercialization. The study is geographically focused on Ethiopia; a country that has exhibited remarkable transformations to its demography, economy, and ecological wellbeing over the past several decades
