GEO2420 Introduction to Human Geography
An Introduction to Human Geography in Global Context I International I Gen Ed

GEO2420 focuses on human and non-human relations that have changed over time to produce effects globally. It provides an analytical lens to examine how and why such changes occur across continents, seas and islands. Its primary goal is to build knowledge in the key human geography concepts of space, place, scale and nature; and apply that knowledge to critically study situations across political, cultural and urban geographies. The course will be taught live with the aid of lectures, discussions and group activities.
