Ryan Good is a PhD Candidate in Geography at the University of Florida. Mr. Good is a human-environment geographer with training in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, conservation, and economic development. His research focuses on the relationships between environmental change, resource management, and economic development in the Global South. He is particularly interested in questions with direct applications for local stakeholders, and has worked on projects with partners at NASA, USAID, and the Government of Kenya’s National Drought Management Authority. Ryan previously earned an MS in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida and a BA with Honors in Geography & English from the University of Kansas. He currently works as Associate Lecturer of Geography and Earth Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and will be returning to join the faculty of the School of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-22 academic year.
