Alex is a GIS specialist based in Senegal. His focus is on using satellite data to track drought and its impact on pastoralist communities, particularly in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. Alex is currently working with a call center to provide herders with information to help them plan the seasonal movements of their herds.
