Amber Lee Todoroff is the recipient of the 2015 recipient of the John R. and Fawn T. Dunkle Geography Award. This award of $1000 is given annually to the most distinguished undergraduate student majoring in Geography who shows sustained academic excellence, involvement in departmental, university and community activities, leadership and strong promise for graduate or professional study. Amber completed an honors thesis in Geography and was a participant in two different National Science Foundation REUs, Research Experiences for Undergraduates at the University of Northern Iowa and Clark University. She has worked in a variety of internship positions and some of her service activities include leadership experiences with Florida Alternative Breaks and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service. Amber recently was awarded the Frost Scholarship to attend the Unive! rsity of Oxford this coming fall for a Master of Science in Nature, Society, and Environmental Governance.
