Job opportunity – Hyflex classroom assistants

We have immediate openings for HyFlex classroom assistants to help out in the 3 Geography Classrooms – TUR 3018, 3006, 3012. The positions pay $10 per hour. To be considered please send the following items to Crystal Hatch by Sunday (! we need folks in asap!). So please email Crystal Crystal Hatch and cc Dr. Jane Southworth.
  1. A brief cover Letter detailing your experience in classrooms and technology – there is a lot of online training available for this too, its not rocket science!
  2. Your schedule of available times each day.
Part of this will require matching up students with classes needing help in terms of teaching times. You will sit in the rooms, facilitate the chat in large sections, help manage the electronics if there are problems etc. etc. Should also be a great line on a CV to say you were a GeoSciences Hyflex Classroom Assistant 🙂 We are looking to hire either 2 people for 10-15 hours per week for the full semester, or 3 people for 7-10 hours per week. It will depend on schedules. You CAN get all the training you will need from the videos online and from hands on learning. While in the classrooms we would also ask for you to type up instructions of use to help facilitate – we have started these documents but the GeoSciences Hyflex Classroom Assistants will help maintain and improve these documents for us all. So please if at all interested – come join a great program – have fun, learn a lot, and get a great line for your CV. Turnaround is quick as we need these people now and rate is not negotiable (we have been assigned a set budget/rate from the college).
