If you are thinking about applying to our MS/MA or PhD programs and want to be considered for funding as a Graduate Student Fellow or Teaching Assistant, please complete your application by Jan. 31 and encourage your references to submit their letters ASAP. This year, we will award 2 Graduate Student Fellowships and they must be awarded to incoming PhD students. We also have top-up money for two incoming PhD students who accept Teaching Assistantships. We have teaching needs in physical geography, human/cultural geography, and techniques courses, so we encourage applications from a wide range of specializations. We will still accept applications throughout the Spring semester, but realize your chances of securing departmental funding will be much lower.
