Dr. Natalia Hoyos (Ph.D., 2004) has just been appointed to the Faculty of the Department of History and Social Sciences at Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, Colombia. Natalia is getting back into academia after she and her husband Jaime (Ph.D., Geology, 2005) had two children and spent time at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute on Barra Colorado island, Panama.
