Carly was awarded the de Blij prize of $200 for the best paper presentation by an undergraduate at
the 2014 Florida Society of Geographers Annual Meeting in Orlando. Her paper,
entitled “Is Precipitation Driven by the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation
Influencing Land Use and Land Cover in Florida?” outlined the results the
research undertaken as part of her undergrdauate thesis.
