Research Statement: My research examines how natural hazards disrupt transportation systems and reshape people’s ability to access essential services. I’m applying geospatial analysis and network-based modeling to measure accessibility losses, and support more equitable and resilient planning decisions. Rather than viewing roads and transit systems only as physical infrastructure, I examine them as networks that shape whether people can receive emergency assistance, access their businesses, and recover after disaster events.
