If you are unable to submit your registration request by 4pm today, Friday Jan. 5th then make sure that you have registered yourself for at least one (1) credit of something before 5pm and your course of choice can be added during DROP/ADD next week. Failure to do so will result in a fee (see * below for details).

IF YOU CAN SEE THE SECTION NUMBER IN STUDENT REGISTRATION THEN YOU CAN REGISTER AND SHOULD REGISTER YOURSELF. Please use these forms for Departmentally controlled courses (example: Senior Seminar, Colloquium), courses with variable credit (see below for instructions) which need instructor signature, or courses that are full but that you have permission from the instructor to get into.
Before using these registration forms you must make sure that you do not have any holds on your record. If you have a hold – this form submission will not be processed. You will need to clear your hold(s) and submit it again.
It is the student’s responsibility to know what courses, prerequisites, term, and number of credits are needed. If you have any questions please direct them to the Undergraduate Coordinator (Dr. Liang Mao).
GRADUATE STUDENTS also: Make sure that you speak with your advisor or the Graduate Coordinator (Dr. Cynthia Simmons) prior to registering, so that they can advise you about which courses you should be taking according to your current/future placement in the grad program, financial status, and visa status. You must know how many credits you are required to register for according to your financial/visa status, assistantship, fellowship, etc.
VARIABLE CREDIT: If you need to register for: GEA/GEO/GIS/MET 4911, GEO 4905, GEO 4938, GEO 4944, GEO 4970, GEO 6905, or GEO 6938 – You must use the Variable Credit Form below. Fill out the information, have the instructor sign it, and download/submit this form using the registration links below.

* Late Fee: If you are not registered for at least one class by the deadline you will be assessed a $100 late fee by the University. The department has no control over this and will not assist you in petitioning to waive this fee.
