In celebration of #HispanicHeritageMonth at #UF, we’re highlighting Latina #GeoGators. Next up is Dr. Andrea Birgit Chavez, a UF Geography alum (PhD ’09) from Peru. Andrea is the Co-Coordinator Pan-Amazon Infrastructure Governance Community of Practice and Assistant Scientist at the University of Florida Center for Latin American Studies and the University of Florida’s Tropical Conservation and Development (TCD) Program.
