Research Statement

Among the most severe current and future challenges to humanity is the ability to support a growing human population with water, food, and energy in a sustainable way. Using a mixed methods approach my research is based in large-scale hydroclimatology with applications for society. Of particular interest to me are climate services, the science of how climate data can be used to make informed decisions about everything from long term water management to renewable energy production.
