Dr. Matyas receives CLAS Teaching Award
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Teaching/Advising Awards Committee has recognized Dr. Corene Matyas with a 2018-2019 College Teaching Award. She will receive this award at a reception organized by the Office of the President to be held at the University House later this semester. The Committee has also designated Dr. Matyas as the college’s nominee for the university-wide competition administered by the Office of Academic Affairs. Dr. Matyas thanks the student(s) who nominated her, three former undergraduate students and Dr. Southworth who wrote letters of support, and all students that she has had the privilege to teach and mentor. She also thanks her teachers and mentors over the years.
