Bethany Laufer is now working as a Meteorological Content Producer at the Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be producing for a live show featuring on-air meteorologists such as Stephanie Abrams who also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from UF. Bethany received her BA in Geography along with the Certificate in Meteorology and Climatology in 2012. She also majored in Anthropology and earned a minor in Mass Communication. She discovered her passion for weather while taking GEO2242 Extreme Weather with Dr. Matyas in Fall 2008 and became active in the University of Florida Chapter of the American Meteorological Society.
